Last week Paddy Power released an interim management statement telling that their performance in the sports section was unfavorable.
The nice thing to read in the statement was that Paddy Power sees mobile as really important, “Mobile remains at the core of our growth strategy in all our online markets, and we continue to lead the industry with 47% of total online revenue coming from mobile channels, and 63% of our active customers transacting with us via mobile in October.”
If you continue to read the statement you can also read “Over the coming months, we will launch a series of in-house developed, mobile device optimised products, with the first new product, a Games tablet app, launched last month.”
I think this is a great statement, because making mobile products will be really important for the future success of an online gaming operator!
It is also important to put the player in the centre and acknowledge that they use many devices and build solutions that work across different devices.
