BetMGM launched in Sweden

LeoVegas Group recently launched its hero brand, BetMGM, in the Swedish market, making it the fourth brand in LeoVegas’ home country.

Gustaf Hagman, CEO of LeoVegas Group, shared his excitement: “I’m absolutely thrilled to bring BetMGM to Sweden, where it all started! LeoVegas Group has been a leading operator in Sweden since its inception, and I’m confident that Swedish players will love the unique Vegas experience and golden offers that they will find on BetMGM. Sweden has never been closer to Las Vegas!”

I couldn’t resist giving BetMGM a try. Here are my initial impressions:

Positives:

- Easy Registration: Signing up was simple, thanks to the quick BankID verification process.

- Bank Account Deposits Only: This streamlined payment approach made deposits straightforward.

- Deposit Limits Set Early: Players are prompted to set their deposit limits before placing their first bet or game.

Negatives:

- High Default Deposit Limits: The initial daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits were set unusually high at 30,000 SEK.

- Limit Notifications: After using the default limits, I received a text message from BetMGM cautioning that my limits were “very high”—even though I hadn’t customized them.

- Bonus Offer Challenges: The bonus terms were difficult to meet, making it almost impossible to claim.

- Lack of Innovation: BetMGM offers a standard selection of games, with no notable new features or innovations.

Overall, BetMGM felt more like another LeoVegas brand than a truly unique experience. I was hoping for something different, but it seems like BetMGM is more of a new face on the familiar LeoVegas platform.
