PokerStars Will Relaunch Full Tilt Poker!

PokerStars buys Full Tilt Poker, the news came about an hour ago.

This is huge! It will change the poker industry, giving PokerStars, if they play their cards right, an advantage no one else in the industry can catch up with.

PokerStars have reach a settlement with the U.S Department of Justice where PokerStars have agreed to fully reimburse all of Full Tilt Poker’s customers outside the US, and PokerStars will acquire the assets f Full Tilt Poker. This means that, even though we haven’t seen any software updates from Full Tilt for over a year for obvious reasons, will get their hands on the best poker client.

I know that many players really liked the Full Tilt Poker client, and I wouldn’t be surprised if many of the players will come back when PokerStars relaunch Full Tilt Poker.

So it will be really interesting to see what happens in the near future, will Full Tilt be a stand alone client? Will PokerStars merge the two to a network where players can play on either a Full Tilt or a PokerStars client?

One thing is for sure! The other poker software providers need to start developing their clients. Focus on player experience and build something that can compete with PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. It won’t be an easy task!
